White Heather 2025 Round Up

According to Scottish legend, the elusive White Heather brings good luck to those who find it, and that’s a fitting way to describe 2025. At White Heather, our whiskies are skillfully crafted by Master Blender Billy Walker. Billy is admired for his spectacular blending and wood management capabilities. Made in small batches, we maintain a hands-on approach and carefully monitor the maturation process, ensuring you are among the fortunate ones. This year has been no different, and we are grateful for all the successes we have seen.

Our range includes the White Heather 15 and 21-year-old expressions, both of which have earned a variety of accolades this year.

White Heather 21-year-old, has been expertly crafted by Billy Walker, sourcing the finest whiskies across Scotland in pursuit of a harmonious expression which strikes the balance of sweet notes with gentle peat. It spent its initial maturation period of 18 years in a combination of sherry butts, second-fill barrels, hogsheads, and 1st fill American barrels. It was then married together and laid down to rest for an additional three years in a combination of Pedro Ximénez puncheons, Appalachian virgin oak and Oloroso puncheons.

This carefully blended expression secured a Silver medal at the International Spirits Competition (ISC).

White Heather 15-year-old marries Speyside, Islay and Highland single malt with hand-selected grain whiskies. The resulting expression delivers full-bodied whisky with an impeccable balance between honeyed sweetness and subtle peat smoke.

It spent its initial maturation period of 12 years in a combination of Sherry butts, second-fill barrels, hogsheads, and first-fill American barrels. The spirit was then married together and laid down for an additional three years in a selection of Pedro Ximenez puncheons, American oak and Oloroso puncheons.

We were delighted to secure a Category Win at the World Whiskies Awards in the Blended Scotch Category, which is a remarkable achievement. Additionally, it was awarded Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and Gold at the ISC awards.
